STUDIO POLICY

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Students will be prepared to play for every lesson.

Please bring all necessary books and materials to each lesson.

I consider all goals made by all of my students. In order to keep to said goals, I expect a certain level of personal practice time before coming in for a lesson.      The amount of practice time will depend on the goals you make.

Please be 10 minutes early for your lesson. This gives you a chance to warm up before-hand.

If you are late for your lesson, I will not extend our time as there may be students having a lesson after you.

If you have a phone, please put it on silent.  
 

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Parents play a role in lessons just as much as my students. Encourage your children to play for others at home! Have them show you what they have learned!

If you are driving your children to lessons, please be punctual.

If you will be arriving late, please send me a message so I know when you will arrive.

If your child chooses to no longer have lessons, or you need to change your lessons to a different time due to scheduling conflicts, please inform me 1 week in advance.

Check required materials for lessons. I can supply certain music for your child, but there may be accessories you may personally wish to keep at home (ex. Metronome, own repertoire books instead of photocopies, 3 ring binder for notes etc.)  
 

ADULT STUDENTS

If you choose to no longer have lessons, or you need to change your lessons to a different time due to scheduling conflicts, please inform me 1 week in advance. If you bring your phone to your lesson, please put it on silent unless you have an important reason for it to be on (waiting on a job interview, expecting a baby, etc.)
